What this site is
Liverpool Tourism Guide is an independently published editorial guide to visiting Liverpool. It is a source of information, not a travel agency, tour operator or booking service. Nothing on this site can be booked or purchased through it; every reservation you make happens on someone else’s website, under their terms, and your contract is with them.
Accuracy, and its limits
Guides here are researched against primary sources and revised when what they describe changes. Even so, this is a city that will not sit still. Admission prices rise, museums close galleries for refurbishment, Merseyrail runs replacement buses, restaurants on Bold Street change hands, stadium tours are suspended on match days, and festival dates move. Information that was correct when it was written may be wrong by the time you read it.
So: treat everything here as a starting point, and confirm anything that your plans depend on — opening hours, ticket availability, prices, transport times, accessibility — directly with the venue or operator before you travel or spend money. Content is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranty that it is complete, accurate or current.
Opinions and recommendations
Where a guide says one hotel is better value than another, or that a particular tour is not worth its ticket price, that is editorial opinion formed from research. It is honestly held and honestly explained, but you may reasonably disagree, and your experience on the day may differ. Recommendations are not professional advice, and no liability is accepted for a trip that did not go the way a guide suggested it might.
Safety, travel and money
Some guides discuss nightlife districts, walking routes, match-day crowds and personal safety in the city. This is general information written for a general audience, not a risk assessment for your circumstances. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions while travelling.
Nothing here is legal, financial, insurance, immigration or medical advice. Entry requirements, visa rules and travel insurance are matters for official sources — for the UK, that means GOV.UK and your own government’s travel advice. Prices are given in pounds sterling and were correct when checked; exchange rates and prices change independently of this site.
Third-party links
This site links out to museums, transport operators, venues, event organisers and accommodation providers so you can verify details and book directly. Those links are provided for your convenience. Liverpool Tourism Guide does not control those websites, does not endorse everything they say, and is not responsible for their content, their availability or your dealings with them.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including accommodation links served through Stay22. If you book after following one, Liverpool Tourism Guide receives a commission from the booking provider. You pay no more than you would going direct, and a commission never buys coverage, a recommendation or a position in a ranking.
That does not change the paragraph above. Nothing is booked or bought through this site; every reservation happens on someone else’s website under their terms, your contract is with them, and a commission paid to us afterwards gives us no part in it and no power to sort it out if it goes wrong.

The written guides, itineraries, structure and original photography on this site are the property of Liverpool Tourism Guide and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read them, print a page for your own trip, and share a link to any page — links are always fine and never need permission.
You may not republish substantial extracts, copy guides onto another website, or use this content to train or fine-tune a commercial model, without written permission. Short quotations for review or comment are fine where the source is credited with a link.

Changes and governing law
These terms may be revised; the current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
